Probus, 276-282. Aureus (Gold, 22.5 mm, 6.37 g, 12 h), Antioch, 281. IMP C M AVR PROBVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Probus to right. Rev. COMSERVAT (sic!) AVG Sol, nude except for chlamys tied around neck, standing to left, raising right hand in salute and holding globe in left hand. Calicó 4149 (Ticinum, Cyzicus or Antiochia). Cohen 175. Pink VI/1, p. 40. RIC 915. Very well struck on a broad flan; clear and very attractive. Faint scratches, otherwise, extremely fine.

From the Phoibos Collection, Kunker 326, 7 October 2019, 1594, ex Pecunem 3, 5 May 2013, 284, and Auctiones 6, 30 September 1976, 601.

The letter N was engraved as M on the reverse. I seriously doubt that this was done accidentally by the celator, as it has been engraved similarly to the Ms on the obverse (if we accept that they were made by the same person who made both dies). This spelling mistake was probably done by a slip of the engraver, possibly because the letters M and N are phonetically very close.
