PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy I Soter, as satrap, 323-305 BC. Hemiobol (Silver, 8 mm, 0.37 g, 6 h), uncertain provincial mint 6 (possibly Kyrene?), circa 311-305. Head of youthful Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. Eagle with closed wings, standing to left, with head turned back to right. Obolos 39, 2025, 433. Cf. CPE 209 = Weber 8230. Gitler & Lorber, 40-41. Extremely rare and unpublished in the standard references as a hemiobol. Toned. Minor scratches and somewhat porous, otherwise, nearly very fine.
